About QuackerSnaps Photography

My name is Lucy Clark, yes I'm using the only decent photo I have of myself which is a decade old as I've always belonged behind the camera! ;-)

I received my first film camera from my grandfather in my early teens, I inherited the love of photography from him. I have been through many cameras since then and am currently shooting with a Canon EOS 5D Mark II.

I have been completely self taught until doing my very first course to expand my knowledge in 2016. I don't have a favorite subject to shoot, whatever comes my way I will try my hand at. I have photographed a wedding, sports (I am co-manager of Celebration Pickleball), animals, landscapes, properties, objects & details and my other big love - anything Disney related!

Born and raised in the UK, around 18 I started by selling prints on EBay and created collages with other peoples photos. I decided to find other ways to make money with my photos which is when I found out about MicroStock Photography back in 2006. There are many MicroStock Photography websites, you don't have to pay to sign up. Some of them, you have to pass a test to see if you are good enough and then you start uploading. Each photo is reviewed and will be accepted or rejected. With MicroStock Photography you earn very little per sale (unless you're lucky enough to receive an extended license sale which will get you $25 plus!). This means you have to work hard to get a lot of photos accepted, sounded perfect for me as I love a challenge!

I am now lucky enough to live in the beautiful town of Celebration, Florida. I landed a job in real estate as a marketing director and found myself taking photos of the listings for the company. I taught myself how to photograph interiors effectively and also how to create detailed video tours with my camera. At least one property sold because of the video tour, without the buyer seeing the property! The real estate company expanded into vacation rentals which I became co-owner of, handling the building of the website, the bookings and of course taking photos of the rental homes.

I broke away in 2013 and started my own vacation rental company but realized in 2017 it was time to concentrate fully on my true love of photography. Now I solely provide the service of taking photos of homes for sale and for rent near Disney World in Florida, which currently include a free video. Please contact me if you have any questions about my services and please enjoy looking through My Portfolio. :-)
